BILLING & CLIENT BENEFITS

The Whynot Law Firm is a full-service community association law firm. While many services are billed on an hourly basis, the firm is always willing to discuss a particular service or project with the client to determine whether a modified fee agreement or a fixed fee for the particular service would be better for the client.

FLAT FEE BILLING: Some of the services provided by the Firm are assigned a flat fee for the specific service being provided. For example, much of the assessment collection work is flat fee based.

PROJECT BASED FEE BILLING: Some projects, like significant amendments, declaration preservation, contract drafting, etc., may be billed out on a flat fee basis so that the client knows exactly how much to budget to the project.

PAYMENT PLANS FOR FEES: The Firm fully understands that attorney fees can accrue quickly depending on the circumstances. We offer our clients an interest free payment plan for any major invoices or projects. This provides the Association with the predictability for payment of attorney fees and frees up monies for other expenses that are beneficial to the community.

STANDARD HOURLY BILLING: Work and services are invoiced as they are performed and are billed to the client as they are performed.

ADVANCEMENT/DEFERRED BILLING: The Firm offers its clients a deferred billing model for assessment collection matters. Under this model, all legal fees are deferred during the pendency of the matter. The firm will attempt to collect its fees from the owner during the progress of the case. This means that the Association will not receive an invoice for attorney fees while the firm is actively attempting to collect from the delinquent owner.
